We have so much to be thankful for this year, especially that my dad accepted the Lord three weeks before he passed away! Please remember my precious mom as she celebrates her first Thanksgiving and Christmas without my dad. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Connie... I know how hard it is for your mom to celebrate without her husband (my grandma went through it last year)... keeping her in my thoughts and prayers. Isn't it wonderful your dad accepted Christ before he passed? It is something to look forward to when we leave this world. Hope you all have a wonderful holiday. Your family is so great. Heidi
I don't even know you - I am a friend of Laine's and saw your blog address on her blog and thought I'd check it out. We have a daughter from China, too. Anyhow, I just happened to read about your Dad's salvation. It has blessed my heart so much. My Dad is still lost. He's in terrible health and in his 60's. I've been praying for him for about 22 years now. Your Dad's testimony has touched my heart and increased my faith today. God is using him even now, while he is resting in the arms of Jesus. Thank you so much for sharing.
