Since then there have been 75 days (4 in China with just us; 13 in China with a new sister; 2 in the air and 56 at home), no two the same!
But tomorrow will be the first day my son will spend more time out of my sight than in. It's bittersweet! On one hand I believe he can thrive in school if he applies himself; on the other I'm concerned about the influences he doesn't need. He's a very social kid and loves attention! He's the only one of my Krew who's looking forward to being in school all day. He will take 4 hours of ESL, computer, math and PE.
We've suspected for some time that he hasn't attended school for at least three years, and last night he told us he remembers being in 5th grade - that would be about three years ago :( He's been eager to do Rosetta Stone on the computer over Christmas break. Who knew the power behind: "No English, no school. No English, school at home with Mom."
We have no idea what this week will hold...except a LOT of prayer!

Hi, Connie! CarrieT from Dillon and with 4 from Korea here. Sometimes I can post messages and sometimes not (???--not just on your blog) but today it let me. Will be praying for Kooper and that mom and dad don't worry too much! Remember, Kooper does not go to school alone! God is with him all the way!

Connie, I will lift Kooper (and you) up in prayer today! My heart did a little nervous flip just thinking of how I would feel as his mama.

Prayers for all of you!
Hi:
I am Leveta.A Dillon International Mom reading through Pam another Dillon Moms' blog...We have a son adopted from India through Dillon who is now 14 but came home at 9 years of age.We had the same issues. Not for sure when or if he had attended school, needing more attention (which we do understand) than our daughter also from India through Dillon who came home at the age of 16 months who is now 10.He was home 2 weeks when he started school and there were alot of adjustments but the Lord was gracious and was with us all the way.I will be praying for him and for you all as you go through this new time.Email at rayswithhim@centurytel.net if you want to talk more.
