Just got off a conference call today with our social worker and adoption agency director about our 12 y.o. daughter. The social worker said that it was bringing tears to her eyes to see how far along we had come since our last phone call in the beginning of December. It's been 6 1/2 months...not easy...but God is making a way. Hope you all are doing well.
I'm sorry to be a broken record but we would love to have continued prayers for our adoption- please pray that our officer receives our I800 very soon, approves us and keeps us moving so that we can meet our daughter soon. Thank you so much. Love, Kim

Three years ago the Lord spoke to me about adopting. He's given me several Bible promises, some of them referring to waiting on the Lord. I know that in His perfect timing He will allow us to go get our children, but in the meantime it just seems like He keeps putting up roadblocks-health problems, hubby getting laid off work, now no health insurance, etc. Please pray that I'll be patient and wait on Him. I see so many children needing homes and my heart just aches that we can't go immediately. Also that when the time comes, we will step forward in faith and not hold back in fear. In the meantime, I'm just stalking blogs and gleaning all the information I can :) Thanks!

We have walked through the door that God had cracked open, beckoning us to come...A little boy in China with a serious heart condition waits for a family and we ask for prayer that all the obstacles will be pushed aside. Currently the agency is asking for pre-pre-approval for our family to proceed as a waiver will be needed.
Only God...and lots of faith and prayer!
