The Name Game ~ updated

*update below*
We are still undecided on the best name for our waiting Treasure. We chose Kimmie because we pray for her daily and wanted to call her by name.
We're still trying to decide what her new name will be. Just for fun, you can vote for her name!
If you have any awesome 6-letter K name ideas, please share!

Thank you all so much for your awesome suggestions! I'm loving them!
Of course I love Kenzie, Kennah and Kinley because we've already used those names :)
I absolutely love the name Kelsey...but I have a beautiful niece with that name. She has granted me permission to use the name, but I just can't do that to Grandma. You're welcome, Mom :)
I've added two more names to the poll. Kimmie and Kinidi were tied. I'm still open to suggestions...

Oh, girl, you know I LOVE me some "K" names!!! We would have loved to use Kimberli (my sister's middle name), but I couldn't get past the "Kim" being the stereotypical Asian name. Now, though, I sort of wish we had & just insisted it not be shortened.

Anywhoo...one name I really, really like but can't use b/c it's already in the family is Karsyn for a girl. I like Kinidi, too, & since I've been blessed to actually hear your sweet voice, I could totally hear you saying it! ;)

Oh daughter is Karisa.

Love, Love Kelsey. Would have already used it, but my daughter's best friend is names Kelsey. Said teenage daughter did not like the idea of her sister having her best friend's name. So no Kelsey here, but maybe there!

Our newest waiting in China has a 6 letter K name that I love. You could use it with my blessing if you love it as much as I do...seeing as I totally took the name Kayden from you. :)

Her name is Kyrain...from the greek Chairein meaning "joy to you"

Shhh...we haven't publicly announced it yet.

One of my favorite books is One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. She breaks down the word Eucharisteo. In the middle of that word is Charis which means grace. You could change the spelling to Kariss. Karyss?
Krysta means follower of Christ.
Kadence (7 letters tho) means rhythm.

Oooh, I can't resist the challenge of a name game! Somebody beat me to Karisa, Kendra and Krysta, but I don't think I saw Keziah (one of Job's beautiful daughters). And on another note, thanks for writing about trauma. My teen treasure was, I think, spared some of the things that yours experienced, but we do get echoes of trauma from time to time, and it is good for me to hear what other families are learning and experiencing about it.
