In One Week...

It seems like I should have something to say, but honestly I'm speechless.  I can't believe a week from today we will be on a loooooooong flight around the world to a place where our little man waits.

Although we are beside ourselves excited, he has no idea that his world is about to be rocked and everything that is familiar will soon be left behind.

Kaison is grinning in every single picture we have, and I wonder if his little broken heart will allow the same expression a week and a half from now.
We've been praying for him and his broken heart.  And for his caregivers.  Although we knew he will be safe and loved, he can only trust that to be true.

May he always feel secure, safe and loved.  He will be called son and brother very soon!

To God be all glory!

He is so adorable. I am going to pray for him. Please pray for my family. We have been approached about adopting a little guy. Very long story short, his kinship foster mama can't adopt him due to age, health, lack of support support support system. She has had him almost 3 years, since he was born. Parental rights were terminated last week, so he is going to be taken away from her and placed for adoption. His little world will be shaken as well. We are going to be pursuing adoption, but it will have to be God

Seriously Connie, he gets cuter every time you post a picture!! Blessings on your trip- wonderful time of the year to be there and hopefully cheaper plane tickets too. (we traveled one year right before Christmas- YIKES!! Sticker shock) We just had our yearly Spina Bifida clinic yesterday for Quinn, so your post was timely. I will pray for Kaison to have a trouble-free transition and that he quickly attaches to you. I'm jealous on so many levels- new ADORABLE little boy, time spent in China, and the FOOD! Enjoy them all!
