Mighty Warriors for God!

KUYLER!
This picture was taken in fun, but it's perfect for what I want to say about him. We are proud of all our boys, but he's our oldest...you know, the 'trial run,' the one you apologize to for not knowing what you were doing in raising him. I'm happy to say that despite our parenting, he's an incredible young man.

We only saw him one day over spring break because he was at an evangelism training conference in Colorado (hence, the picture). He is a young man after God's heart. He is open to God's call. He doesn't just study the Word; he lives it. God has given him a love for people and a broken heart for the lost. He realizes he must be a 'missionary' in his Jerusalem before he can serve anywhere else (because simply crossing over saltwater does not make us missionaries).

God has placed a specific friend on his heart, and he asked us to pray for opportunity. Well friends, opportunity has come, and now he's asking us to pray for the Spirit to lead. You know, it's always hardest talking to family and close friends, but Kuyler is committed to obedience. Please join us in praying for Kuyler and other young mighty warriors!

Praying for Kuyler! and for his friend!
What an awesome opportunity and way for him to spend his spring break! I'd love to hear more about the conference!
Who led it?

WOW, for being your "trial run" I think you did pretty good. I don't know many young men who would spend their time with God.

You can count on prayers from us.

BTW, I LOVE that picture. That is definitely one to hang on the wall.

That picture is so fun and I can totally see my oldest son playin' around like that.
I pray that the Spirit gives him wisdom!

We are so proud of Kuyler too!!! You can count on us to pray for his friend and the Holy Spirit to convict in the way on the Holy Spirit can. Kuyler is an example to us all ~ we say we want to spread the word and share Jesus with all we meet, but I usually get scared and chicken out ~ so Kuyler keep up the Godly work, and may I follow in obidence as well! Love you all!!!!!

Love, love the picture (the hair makes the picture perfect). Yeah, it's always easier to share with a stranger than with your close friends and family. I'll pray that God gives him the right words at the right time.

Kuyler reminds me of my son Luke. It blesses my heart to see young men serving God without question. I once said to my son when we were talking about the dangers that can come with international missions, "son, aren't you afraid of what could happen to you, prison or even death?" He answered me, "mom, whenever I get afraid I think of all the things Jesus went through for us...and the fears leaves me." He was 15 yrs old then and he "schooled me". mary
