Congratulations!!! I have followed your blog for a while and have commented a few times... I read your comment on my most recent post and I just wanted to say that you are in the majority; we are not... Unfortunately. I know you know this better than me, but what you're going through with your older child adoption is just flat out HARD. I have an enormous amount of love and respect for you and the other families like yours. The only thing I think that helps is knowing that you're not alone and that God is bigger. His plans supersede our own and many times the answers aren't revealed to us in this lifetime. For whatever reason, He has spared us the heartache that so many adoptees struggle with. I'll never understand it, but I know that He makes no mistakes... Even through the corruption that's going on with older child adoptions... Certainly God is not surprised by any of it. I've been home three weeks and ours haven't arrived yet. 60 days..WOW! I hope ours gets here sooner. Congratulations to Khloie.
