It's been amazing to watch God work as only He can in your lives.
Some were praying to move forward in the adoption journey, and you are now ready to travel!
Whether you need prayer about adoption, health issues, a job, family, relationships...whatever you'd like to share with me, it would be my privilege to pray for you!
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Connie this is such a blessing what you do!! I love to read the requests of others too so that I can pray for them.
ReplyDeleteJeff and I are heading to Uganda to visit orphanages and meet with attorneys in January. Please pray that God will guide us to our children and use us to be a blessing as we serve and minister to orphans and carers.
Also for continued provision. We have seen His provision in many ways already.Your testimony always encourages me to trust God and not worry.
Thank you Connie!!

Connie, we are still fundraising to bring John Wesley home. We will probably travel in January. Praying that God will provide for us to be able to travel when we get TA. We just started a new fundraiser at www.journeytojohnwesley.blogspot.com.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your prayers during our wait to bring our sweet boy home.
God bless you!!
We a wonderful idea! We just started fundraising for our 2nd special needs adoption in 18 months! We know without a doubt we were called to adopt again and we can't wait to bring our Talia Mei home. We pray that she stays warm this winter and does not need any medical intervention before we reach her. We also pray that God continues to lead us with our fundraising efforts. We need to raise quite a bit in order to bring our daughter home so we ask for God's provision over us and our adoption and trip expenses. In addition we pray for our first daughter home and that her new scoliosis brace is as effective as the first and that the hole in her heart closes so that she will not need open heart surgery in the coming year.
ReplyDeleteI added your blog to my list of blogs. Here is mine:

Connie,
ReplyDeleteWe leave on 12/7 and meet our two sweet angels on 12/11. Please can you pray that their hearts will be softened towards our family and adoption. For our family during our time in China and when we return home. Also for our little Cavanaugh's legs. Thank you so much!

Amazingly China said, "YES", to our adopting a 2nd child! We are so excited! So, we'll hopefully be bringing home 2 children at the same time! Please please please pray for finances and paperwork that needs to be amended, etc!
ReplyDeletePlease pray for Sweat Elisyn and her mom Jamie. Their family is so faithful and I know God's timing is perfect but they sure could use some good news this week. Prayers for their family to feel peace tonight specifically.

Our Article 5s were picked up today. YEAH!!! We sure would like to be in China for Christmas. Please believe with us! Thank you so much. Melissa
ReplyDeletePrayers appreciated for our sweet Joshua (and I echo prayers for Elisyn as well) as our family adjusts and we learn to live with his diagnosis and what that means for our family. Praying for you and yours as well, Connie.
ReplyDeleteWe have had a full year with many months of on-again-off-again unemployment. While the Lord has continued to provide, we are growing weary (to say the least). Right now, we are entering Month #3 of zero income (with Christmas). While we are THANKFUL for money in the bank, we know that it won't last another 3 months.
ReplyDeletePlease pray ... for wisdom and guidance, and God's favor with the employers that Jim has applied to. Jim needs a "job" in order to provide for the family. But, we are also praying for a "career". Should he go back into teaching ... or ministry ... or is there something else that he should be pursuing?
Thanks for the prayers!!!
Hope your weekend is BLESSED!
