No life, no past, no heart...

"We need to also cling to the truth that no life is too broken, no past too imperfect, no heart too wounded for our loving God to redeem and begin to heal. Jesus has extended the invitation: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.' (Matthew 11:28) We need to accept his invitation and find rest and hope in him and all that he has made available to us.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 2 Corinthians 1:3-5

Thank you, Connie. I am interested to hear about your week in NY. I have one that may be a candidate on a slightly different level.

  2. Amen Connie.

We always have to remember that when it comes to adoption as well...and especially adopting older children. God is here to redeem...we each are in need of it. It's powerful and God can heal the most broken hearts and spirit.

    Have a blessed week.
