Today we needed 56 bags of corn just to fill our reserves. Mr. Greenthumb wasn't sure we'd make that, but he did what he does every day...
got up at 3 am, spent time with our Provider, and started cutting corn at 4...
and picked 101 bags of corn!
AND WE ARE SOLD OUT!
Sometimes I wonder what it looks like when the Lord smiles :)
:) Smiling with you and God right now!
ReplyDeleteMan! What a huge testimony of God's faithfulness and just plain (not that there's anything plain about God) coolness. He's up there saying, "Yeah, I'll show YOU what I can do because I just love ya so much!"
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!!!
ReplyDeletei have been enjoying your blog for awhile now. and may i say, all of your kids are so super cute!
ReplyDeletemy question is: how do you manage to get by without your hubby during the busy farming season? my hubby is a potato farmer, we have 5 kids (oldest is 9)and we are in the process of adopting 2 from uganda. this year the busy time is april-october. i know God wants us to do this and so i don't look at our situation as impossible, but i would just love to hear from someone who has been doing this for awhile. if you have a minute. :)
thanks!
