Didn't Make it Home :(

Ya'll, thank you for praying. Please keep it up! We would've landed 30 minutes ago...I would be hugging my hubby and babies right now...but that wasn't the plan I guess.

We only had a 2 hour, 30 minute layover in Seattle, our port of entry, and it wasn't enough time for immigration. We completed the immigration process as our plane was taking off :(

To top it off, I got really sick the last 3 hours of the long flight, so we booked the next flight out with a connection to Wichita. We leave Seattle at 11:22 pm tonight and won't arrive in Wichita till 10 am tomorrow.

But we got a room and all slept about 3 hours (and took a shower!!!!) so I think we'll make the next 14 hour leg. Ugh.

The girls did awesome on the flight. Kennah slept most of it, and Kasidi slept some. We just want to be home - thank you for praying!

  3. I am so sorry you got sick and
    then missed your flight. We
    didn't think we would make
our flight last week. We finally
did with less then a half hour until
take off. At least you were able to
    take a shower.
I agree with Jean the trip home and
everything that goes with it is the
    hardest part.
    Praying for all of you!

  4. Oh no Connie. I do have to agree with Jean though, this last leg is the hardest. By this time you just want to get home. I guess the good news is that Kennah and Kasidi do well. Oh, and that when you do land and hug your hubby and kids, you will be nice and fresh from your shower.

Looking forward to your next post, your family all together again!
    Hugs and prayers

  5. Prayers this last leg of the journey. You are an amazingly strong woman with such a special family..it's been a blessing following this journey and I pray as I write this, you are no longer feeling ill (though I'm sure plenty tired). Prayers also for quick recovery from the time change and the trip!!! Blessings, Jennifer
