Impossible, Really?

"Watch how we limit the Lord by remembering what we have allowed Him to do for us in the past: I always failed there, and I always shall; consequently we do not ask for what we want. If it is an impossibility, it is the thing we have to ask. If it is not an impossible thing, it is not a real disturbance. God will do the absolutely impossible.

When once we see Jesus, He does the impossible thing as naturally as breathing. Our agony comes through the wilful stupidity of our own heart. We won't believe, we won't cut the shore line, we prefer to worry on."

  1. I needed this message today. Like the children of Israel, even after God has performed the impossible, I have trouble believing He can do it again. My stupidity.

  2. GREAT QUOTE! I absolutely love OC. Such a wise man whose writings really make me really ponder the Truth WAY more than just your average devotional.

  4. Connie,
I've been meaning to share this web site with you. When I changed jobs I lost your email so I'm going to post the blog here. I've enjoyed reading this 21 year olds experience on how she's letting the Lord move in her life and how she's stepping out on faith no matter what the cost.

We can all learn a lot from her. I hope you enjoy it.
