Gotcha, later that evening.
Gotcha, stoic little girl.
Gotcha! One mad baby!
Who knew this bubbly, active little girl was hiding inside?!?Kinley was none too happy about being handed to her parents. When she finally settled down, she was expressionless and totally silent for six days. Even the pictures we developed that were taken by her orphanage staff showed few smiles. She was so insecure and afraid it broke my heart. We didn't know if or when she'd bond or feel secure. Day by day we've watched her blossom into a cheerful, giggly girl. That is the hand of God, my friends!
Reminds me of Cassidy SO much. Seeing her personality unfold has got to be aweseome!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures made my heart melt!! She is so precious and she really has changed a lot! I am so glad that she has opened up to her AMAZING family! Praise be to Him!
ReplyDeleteKinley has such a BEAUTIFUL smile! These pictures bring back memories of Katie Joy right at first....so sad, so stoic. Heartbreaking for sure...and it took KJ a LONG time to really, truly smile. Thank you God for the changes in our sweet baby girls!
ReplyDeleteOh these pics just touch my heart, dear friend. So absolutely wonderful. What a sweetheart the Father has blessed you with.
ReplyDeleteAnd she's so beautiful, too!! Praise God for bringing you together...His plan.
ReplyDeleteShe is a beauiful girl full of giggles, and many smiles. So glad to see her blossom as well. A lot of this has to do with her loving parents who continue to love her each and every moement of every day! Welcome Home Kinley!
