This is an actual conversation in my house this morning ~
Kinley: Mom, can I go to F*irview with Dad and get a treat?
Me: I said Dad's going to F*irview to get goat feed.
Kinley: Can I go?
Me: Maybe.
Kinley (to her sibs): Hey, she said 'maybe' we can go with Dad and get a treat!
Me: I didn't say that, and I didn't say yes!
Kinley: But you didn't say 'no'!
How'd we get here? :)
Kinley is good!! She has a future as a negotiator!!
